Do I need to register an account to mine?
Registration is not required. Just configure your miner
according to our instructions and start mining. Your
first submitted share will automatically register you
with our pool. Good Luck!
Why is my reported hashrate zero or different from what
my miner reports?
Pool and miner hashrates are re-calculated every ten
minutes. Therefore it can take a maximum of ten minutes
for your hashrate to update depending on the submission
time of your first valid share. The hashrate we display
at the pool is a rough approximation of your hashrate
based on your submitted shares and can therefore differ
significantly from the hashrate displayed locally. When
in doubt always consider the value displayed by your
miner as the correct one.
How will I get paid?
F4Pool offers two separate Alephium payout strategies. Choose the pool whose method matches how you want to mine:
PROPRound-based sharing
When the PROP pool finds and matures a block, the distributable reward is divided according to each miner's valid share contribution during that round.
SOLOWinner takes the reward
The miner whose submitted share solves the block receives the distributable block reward after maturity. Other miners do not share that SOLO block.
The configured pool fee is shown on the home page, Pool Overview, and Connect page. The dashboard and payment records are the source of truth for credited and paid amounts.
When will I get paid?
The global payout processor checks balances every 10 minutes. A payment is created after your mature balance reaches the configured minimum of 0.1 ALPH. Block-based rewards remain pending until the Alephium maturity and the configured 500-block reward lock have been satisfied.
Do I need to keep the dashboard open?
No. Mining, share accounting, block processing, and payouts happen on the server. The dashboard only reads your current statistics from the API.
Which wallet address should I use?
Use an Alephium address that you control and can receive mining payouts. Enter the same address in your miner username and in the F4Pool miner dashboard.
